The Esperanto Hymn of Peace<\/span><\/h3>\n

To Thee, o all-powerful, mysterious Spirit,<\/span>
\n Force Supreme, which governs all the world;<\/span>
\n To Thee, great Source of love and truth,<\/span>
\n Great Foundation of the perfect Life;<\/span>
\n To Thee, whom each pictures to himself in different ways<\/span>
\n But whom within our hearts we all alike do feel,<\/span>
\n To Thee, our Creator, To thee, our Ruler.<\/span>
\n To Thee, this day we pray.<\/span><\/p>\n

To thee, not with the Creed of one Nation do we come,<\/span>
\n Bearing the dogmas of one blind devotion;<\/span>
\n Silenced now all credal disputation,<\/span>
\n And Faith alone in all our hearts doth rule.<\/span>
\n With this Faith, which is alike in all,<\/span>
\n With this, the truest Faith, and void of all dispute,<\/span>
\n Here now, we stand, the sons of all mankind,<\/span>
\n Upon Thine altar steps.<\/span><\/p>\n

Humanity, perfect and beautiful, Thou didst create,<\/span>
\n But unhappy divisions arose amongst men.<\/span>
\n One nation, another nation cruelly attacks,<\/span>
\n Like jackals, who wildly fight each other.<\/span>
\n O Thou whate’er mysterious Force Thou art,<\/span>
\n Listen to the urgent voice of this our fervent prayer,<\/span>
\n Restore once more to us a glorious Peace.<\/span><\/p>\n

We have together leagued ourselves to work, to strive,<\/span>
\n For the re-union of mankind into one Brotherhood;<\/span>
\n Uphold us, O Thou most Powerful, let us not fall,<\/span>
\n But give us Grace, all obstacles to meet.<\/span>
\n Bestow Thy Blessing upon our work.<\/span>
\n Add Thy great strength unto our feeble Zeal,<\/span>
\n And grant that we, through all opposing force<\/span>
\n May bear ourselves courageously.<\/span><\/p>\n

With Faith, on high our verdant flag we raise,<\/span>
\n As Standard only of the Noble and the True,<\/span>
\n The Almighty then our humble work shall bless,<\/span>
\n And by His help, we shall attain our aim,<\/span>
\n By His help, dividing barriers shall fall.<\/span>
\n By His help, our way shall be made plain,<\/span>
\n By His help, once more on Earth<\/span>
